BS HR3 steel (commonly called iron) is a construction steel widely used in industry. It is magnetic, and in particular, it is possible to observe high hardness, discrete machinability and good mechanical properties in this type of sheet metal.
It is excellent for making metal plates and custom metal plates such as plates for doors and intercoms. It is also possible to create customized advertising signs in iron.
By its nature, iron tends to oxidize so it is always advisable to carry out a protective treatment such as painting of any type or cold galvanizing. In cases where you prefer to have a rust-like aesthetic effect, it is advisable to use corten which is more stable over time.
